Still here. Went to my nieces 40th on Friday and it was great. There were 50 women and boy they could talk. Jennie and I left at 5pm but my other sister (b'day girl's mum ) stayed until 9.30pm as most of the ladies husbands arrived and more food was purchased. Anyway I'm sure Bridget had a great time.
Haven't done much else. Went to a shop that caters for caravans and motorhomes, and I learnt sooo much, I wish they had one on the coast. I'm feeling more confident and will be going back with more questions.
My niece's, from Ettalong, daughter, Ella, and her friends
Sanctuary Point near Jervis Bay

Well as I said not much has happened but thought I'd let you know that I'm still alive.
Talk soon

Arrived in Melbourne
I know it's been far too long since I updated this, very sorry. Spent a great night at Port Macquarie. Took dogs for walk on the beach in the morning prior to going to Ettalong beach..On the way to my niece''s I detoured to Port Stephens and had a look at Nelson Bay. Could only have a look cos there was sooo much traffic and no where to park my 'bus'. I'll now plan to camp there on my return.
Arrived at Ettalong Beach and boy was it hot, on the Sturday nite it was still 35 degrees at midnight, not nice. Stayed there 3 days then set off for Jervis Bay. The road was extremely windy and I did hold up a few cars but did try to do the right thing and pull over wherever possible Tried to book into the caravan Park there but was told no vacancy cos all the retirees were there. Obviously I didn't sound old enough !! I managed to book into a Park at Sanctuary Point, and the native wildlife was fantastic. The dogs weren't too sure about the kangaroos hoping around so I kept them on a short leash. There were also Kookaburras and a few lizards.
Next stop (on Tuesday) was Eden ,south coast near Vic and NSW boarder. Beautiful spot and the fishing is meant to be great but I didn't have my rods rigged so I couldn't catch dinner!. I stayed with my brother-in-law's twin brother and his wife. Their house over looks the bay and was very relaxing sitting on the balcony with drink in hand and not having to worry about a thing. Boy this is a tough life.
I'm now in Melb. after leaving Eden this morning at 7.30am. I'll be staying here till March but will be doing the odd trip. One thing I found out about the Motorhome is that the 'house' batteries go flat pretty quickly so I'll need to buy new ones. Lucky it's happened now and not when I'm in the outback somewhere.
That's all for now. I'll try and update more frequently but I don't think much will happen here in Melb.
